Oil and Gas Alternative Investments are developmental drilling that is done in proven fields that have a higher likelihood of having producing wells. Exploratory drilling also takes place, however, in new unproven fields. There are intangible drilling costs—one-time, concentrated benefit, generally taken in the first year. This is helpful to clients who may have received a one-time distribution from the sale of business or exercised stock options and need a write-off. Tax benefits are also given to the investor in a combination of depreciation and depletion allowances. Profits can be derived from the sale of oil and gas property.

Disclaimer: This is neither an offer to sell nor the solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Working Interests in oil and gas are speculative and involve a high degree of risk; investors should be able to bear the complete loss of their investment. The direct or indirect purchase of working interests in oil and gas involves significant risks, including commodity price risks and risks specific to a given well or oil field. Available to accredited investors only.
